WeatherRoam for Claude
Ask Claude where the weather will be good this weekend within a drive of you. WeatherRoam compares the towns in range and returns up to three with the most promising weekend forecast, each with an approximate drive time and each day's outlook. If nothing nearby looks good, it says so.
Add it to Claude
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
- Find WeatherRoam in the directory, or choose Add custom connector and enter
https://weatherroam.com/mcpexactly, with nothing after/mcp. - No account, sign-in or API key is needed.
If a result shows "There was a problem displaying content", reload the page. If it still shows, check that the connector address has no trailing slash or extra characters.
Try asking

Naming WeatherRoam helps Claude pick the right tool.
What it does
One tool, find_weekend_weather_getaway. It is read only: it looks up forecasts and drive times and changes nothing.
- Starting place: a city or town you name, such as "Minneapolis" or "Springfield, Illinois". If a name could mean several places, it asks which one.
- Drive limit: 1 to 6 hours one way. The default is 3.
- Result: a card with up to three towns, each day's forecast, drive times, a link that opens the picks on the WeatherRoam map, and the data credit.
Limits
- The coming weekend only.
- The United States and Canada.
- It ranks general fair weather. It is not a forecast for a single place, and it does not search for snow, heat, events or lodging, or book anything.
- Drive times are approximate and do not include live traffic.
Data and privacy
Claude sends the place you name and your drive limit. WeatherRoam needs no account and does not receive your conversation. Details are in the privacy policy.
